Re: feckin potato rompers clogging amid the stoneyards
Pauls! I am making a trifle today... after my mom's good old treat.. sprung for some dry sherry from Oz and big bottle of whipping cream AND Birds Custard Powder...of course I ignore the ingredients esp. the mention of colour.. just for the tradition of it all.. sposed to go to a oldies dinner party tonight for thanksgiving weekend, though I may just stay home as it is BRIT WEEK on the telly extra coro's too... yum... and even that maudlin Emerdale I watch just to see the English countryside especially the stone wallsssss

Why not make something that's important and valuable rather than a trifle!
Horsetralia is an awful long way to go just for a bottle of sherry, do they not sell it in Norf America?
And talking of the Land of the Free and the Home of the Braves (oh no, hang on you rounded up the latter and either shot them or incarcerated them on reservations), I suppose I had better start digging my air-raid shelter in the back garden. Hell, if I had a massive nuclear arsenal and someone deployed Constipation Street and Haemorrhoid Farm against me I know what I'd do in retaliation!
PS. The Rugby World Cup is on now. Given your various sojourns across the Empire who are you supporting?
