[You'll probably have to consult the Cornish Words section to get that pun] You can just toddle all the way along the road but a little bit further on you will come across a single track road on your left down which is ... another ruined mine! (6 on Map)
You can have a mooch around if you are careful (or aren't bothered by the prospect of falling down a mineshaft!. In addition, there is a footpath that runs from the mine through the fields, more or less parallel to the road, which will bring you out in Towednack. So, if you prefer tip-toeing through the tulips (cowpats, actually) so marching along the tarmac, then take this route. We did. Unfortunately, some locals, in a desperate attempt to repel the invasion of emmets have resorted to guerilla warfare in an attempt to thin out the numbers. OK, assuming you have managed to negotiate the mine without falling into anything nasty, you should be able to spot the path which goes across the fields to Towednack.
