flood photos

Whilst doing an internet search for photos of flood events in St Ives, I came across your site.  The Council are currently preparing a climate change strategy for the District the aim of which is to raise public awareness of how climate change may affect Penwith and ways in which we can help to mitigate and adapt to changes in our weather patterns.  I am wondering whether I can use some of the photos on your website to put in the strategy, obviously copyright will be acknowledged.  The strategy will be available as a printed booklet and will also be available on our website as a pdf document.

Yours sincerely

Thanks for asking. Yes, you may use the photos.

Glad to have been of assistance and look forward to seeing the results of your efforts.

Have to say hats off to those who did the fixes after the 2002 flood. We've had a couple of times this year when I was half expecting to wake up to a repeat of the carnage but so far, touch wood, we've stood up to the deluges. I think you're absolutely right. We'd better prepare and get used to these mini monsoons, I can't see them going away.
