More nautical nostalgia covers the wall and apparently you can get food and drinks inside. I say 'apparently' because I wouldn't want you to think I spend all my time going to every pub in St. Ives. Regular outbreaks of amateur and professional musicianship mean that there's often something going on at the Lifeboat. It's just that you aren't always sure what it is! Nice view across the harbour if you can get a window seat. If you have sufficient time you can construct a hide and indulge in a spot of Alfie-watching. Also offers a splendid vantage point for watching the Lifeboat being launched. (Unless the tide is right in and it is a real emergency, in which case we recommend a policy of diving for cover).
